Looking for an orthopaedic shoulder
specialist who’ll work with you?
Meet Dr Dan
Dr Dan is sensitive to the concerns and challenges caused by shoulder
injury, treatment and recovery. He also recognises the importance of connected patient and referrer relationships by:
- Empowering patients to lead their own recovery
- Bringing a more connected focus to medical practice
- Building trust by providing assurance and confidence to patients and referrers about treatment pathways
I believe mutual respect and understanding are hallmarks of the relationship a physician has with his patients. What this means is I work to ensure the people I treat feel and know their concerns are truly heard, not just noted.

His ongoing clinical research is underpinned by his membership of the Harvard Alumni Codman Shoulder Society, a group dedicated to researching and furthering shoulder surgery.
A natural byproduct of this collaboration is the benefit to Dr Dan’s patients who gain access to the most advanced shoulder surgery techniques and research available.

Dr. Dan
Taking an approach
with patients that informs, empowers
and assures, he will guide you through the
treatment and healing process to restore
physical confidence.
and will answer questions like:
Will surgery be necessary?
Actually not all shoulder injuries and conditions require surgery. Many can be treated non-surgically through exercise and focused care. A full assessment of your condition at an initial consult will identify your next steps.
What if my condition requires more complex treatment, like arthroscopic shoulder reconstruction or joint replacement for arthritis?
Dr Dan appreciates the concerns patients experience around more complex treatments. He will guide you to a level of understanding that will see you well informed every step along the road to recovery.
How do I know Dr Dan is the right physician for me?
Dr Dan fully appreciates how daunting it is for most people to be faced with an injury that requires more complex medical intervention.
